Diamondback Terrapins are a species of concern and there is very little data available about their populations in North Carolina. Participants are needed to paddle preplanned routes and log terrapin sightings on their Smartphones
along the way. This event will provide scientists with valuable information which can be used to track terrapin density and distribution over time.
