We invite you to join our weekly, open calls about Citizen Science Day, every Wednesday at 4 PM EST. Citizen science is public involvement in real research. Citizen Science Day, which is on April 13 this year, is supported by SciStarter, the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at Arizona State University, the National Network of Libraries of Medicine Pacific Southwest Region (NNLM PSR), and the Human Computation Institute. Citizen Science Day will feature the Stall Catchers' Megathon, a gamified way to contribute to Alzheimer's research. Stall Catchers can be played on any internet-friendly device, and we think this event could activate your library as a hub for citizen science. The calls are on 4 PM EST on every Wednesday, and you can join via Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/272718633 ) or phone (646-558-8656 Meeting ID: 272 718 633). Whether you're a librarian, a volunteer, or someone who hasn't started planning an event yet, we want you on these calls! More information (a public FAQ, past call agendas and recordings, a planning timeline, and more) is available in this community folder: http://bit.ly/2HCc5ug Please fill out this interest form, and we will contact you with more information: http://bit.ly/2G1xj2k Please email CarolineN@SciStarter.com with any questions.
