Wisconsin First Detector Network (WIFDN) volunteers report observations of invasive species in Wisconsin via the Great Lakes Early Detection Network (GLEDN) app or via email to WIFDN. Observations are verified and submitted to the EDDMapS database where volunteers, researchers, landowners, and land managers can use the data to learn about the spread of invasive species near them, prioritize species to monitor, and plan effective invasive species management.
