World Community Grid is a Krembil Research Institute initiative that enables anyone with a PC, Mac, Android device, or Raspberry Pi to donate their unused computing power to humanitarian scientific research. World Community Grid's most recent project is OpenPandemics - COVID-19, which is helping scientists at Scripps Research find potential treatments for COVID-19. As the COVID-19 continues its global spread, this project needs as many volunteers as possible to help speed up research. Other World Community Grid projects are studying cancer, tuberculosis, the human microbiome, and rainfall patterns in sub-Saharan Africa. You can join World Community Grid's global group of volunteers by downloading a secure app and choosing the research projects you wish to support. Then, your device will automatically receive, process, and return simulated experiments through the World Community Grid's secure platform.
