We’re looking for people to set up backyard mosquito egg traps, collect the eggs and send them to us for testing using a revolutionary DNA testing method.
A trap is quick and easy to set up using a plastic container, such as one from your recycling bin, and items from a free ‘egg collection kit’ we provide to participants.
We need people to be available for a short period (around two weeks) between January and April 2017 to set up and monitor a trap.
The project is currently a pilot and only open to residents of the Metro South Health region of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
