Attendees will explore Citizen Science opportunities through SciStarter (scistarter.org and ScienceNearMe,org) with information and registration tables, with a Citizen Science Ambassador to answer questions and discuss some of the 100's of projects you can choose from. The library's Citizen Science check-out kits will be on display and available for checkout (library card required). Several activity stations (including Infared detectors, building an electromagnetic detector), take & make kits, representatives from the Dark Sky Network, a Daytime Astronomy station with telescopes and binoculars and a keynote speech by retired NASA astronaut Duane Carey will discuss piloting the space shuttle Columbia on a servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope, and so much more!
