Learn everything you need to know (and have) to start contributing to real and important scientific research - all from the comfort of your home. These projects are fun by yourself, with a partner, or even as a way to connect family as you do projects together (while being physically apart). Invite friends, family, and loved ones!
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Arizona State University (OLLI at ASU) offers non-credit, university-quality learning experiences for adults ages 50+ through diverse classes, campus-based learning opportunities, and public service initiatives. OLLI at ASU is a community of engaged learners discovering the joy of lifelong learning at its best: no tests, grades, or educational requirements. OLLI at ASU members have the opportunity to grow and learn inside and outside the classroom - in part through partnerships like this one with SciStarter!
SciStarter and OLLI at ASU have developed a workshop series to offer citizen science opportunities for anyone and everyone. Each week, engage in real research that matters to the larger community, contributes to discovery, and enhances the world of science!
For the workshop on July 22, join Caroline and Shruthi from the SciStarter team to learn more about citizen science, how to use the ASU OLLI SciStarter webpage (SciStarter.org/ASU-OLLI), and how to use Crowd The Tap, a project in which individuals collect data from their own home on the quality of their tap water pipes.
