'Astronomy for All: Your First Step into Citizen Research' is an online introductory webinar designed to help participants explore how anyone can contribute to real scientific research through citizen science, with a special focus on astronomy and astrophysics. Organised by Trishul Observatory in collaboration with Konnagar Space Lab, SA Citizen Science Group, International Astronomical Search Collaboration and VigyanCharchar Asar, this session introduces the principles of citizen research and highlights how public participation supports professional scientific projects around the world. The webinar will be conducted by Sanchayan Sarkar (Asteroid Hunter, Kilonova Hunter, SciStarter Champion, and Astronomy Enthusiast), who will share practical examples of citizen science in action, explain how beginners can get involved, and discuss tools and platforms that enable participation from home. Participants will learn about observing space objects, engaging with real-time astrophysical data, and contributing meaningfully to ongoing research projects—without requiring prior academic or research experience. The session will conclude with a live question-and-answer segment.
