Join SciStarter and STAR Net for a Citizen Science Earth Day Celebration at Marple Library!
This is the perfect opportunity for community members to come together and engage in hands-on, impactful science. This interactive celebration will showcase a variety of citizen science projects that contribute to important research on topics such as phenology (the study of seasonal changes in plants and animals), migration patterns, and conservation efforts. Learn how everyone can contribute to real-world scientific research and make a positive impact on Earth! Don’t miss this chance to get involved and take action.
After the presentation, you’ll find out how to participate in Marple Library’s Great Sunflower Project AND find out about the library’s Citizen Science kits you can check out with your library card!
Attendees will receive project instructions and Hella Sonnenblume Sunflower seeds to plant.
