Be a part of a community bioblitz to capture a snapshot of Tilden's biodiversity. At the BIOBLITZ we will: - Find, identify, and record life on a walk to Jewel Lake. - Use the iNaturalist mobile app to record our observations of the area’s wildlife, plants, and more! - Wear comfortable layers, sturdy shoes, sun protection, - Bring water and a fully charged mobile device or camera. - Get a head start and download the iNaturalist app to your phone and make a free account prior to arriving. The iNaturalist's app QR code & instructions are below. - Open to all levels of learners. Children 8+ welcome with parent (guardian) participation required. Meet at the Tilden Nature Area Environmental Nature Center, 1500 Central Park Dr, Berkeley, CA 94708 at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 28. We will break into groups for our bioblitz walks, and return to the nature center at 11:15 to share photos about our observations and what we learned.
