Happy World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD), World Bamboo Day (WBD) and Park(ing) Day 2026 on September 18!
WWMD/EarthEcho Water Challenge is a global educational outreach program established in 2003 for clean water. I have taken part in this participatory science program for about 20 years, and make no exception for WWMD 2026. With WWMD being a SciStarter affiliated citizen science project that I’ve participated since 2024, as in past years, I lead the CIEDM action program to engage a cleanup at and around the Arcadia Ecohome Microforest including public streets and wash trails in the neighborhood for reducing stormwater pollution in local waterways, and to add my action result to the data platform at www.monitorwater.org and my SciStarter Dashboard.
