Did you know that you can help real-world scientists by contributing to Citizen Science? Join SciStarter Ambassadors at Citizen Science 101: Science Near Me, as we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the National Science Foundation, and commemorate 75 years of discovery and innovation. Learn how you can make a difference by collecting data, making observations, and playing games. We'll look at Citizen Science initiatives on SciStarter.org and ScienceNearMe.org that you can join to to help track pollution, protect biodiversity, accelerate Alzheimer's research, understand indoor air quality, and more! This program is a walk-in program for all ages. This program will occur in Pulliam Auditorium, on the 1st floor of Burton Barr Central Library.
