Join Sunnyvale Public Library staff and Charles Street Garden volunteers to learn about Citizen Science and help count pollinators for the Great Sunflower Project in the beautiful Charles Street Garden. We will meet in the Library Plaza at 1:00pm and then walk over to the garden. Registration is not required, but by registering you will receive an email reminder. Wear comfortable clothes and sun protection. Bring water for drinking (the garden can get warm). Rain cancels this event. There is a companion talk to this event on March 19, Virtual Talk: Local Pollinators and Citizen Science, that will focus on the kinds of pollinators that you might see in the Charles Street Garden. You do not need to attend this talk to participate in the Pollinator Count, and likewise you can attend the talk and not attend the Pollinator Count.
