Stop by the citizen science table at 31st Ave Open Street!
Starting on Car-Free Earth Day, April 26, a portion of 31st Ave in Astoria, Queens will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic and parking every weekend. This opens the street up to walking, cycling, and outdoor activities, like dining, vendor fairs, and free programming.
Catch us here on select Saturdays to learn more about citizen science and even engage in some live projects! A SciStarter Ambassador will be present to assist and answer your questions.
