This citizen science workshop series, organized by the STAR Center (University of Novi Sad), invites participants to actively engage in psychological research on trust in science. Across four sessions, participants learn how scientific research works, explore pseudoscience, discuss public perceptions of science, and contribute to designing a survey instrument. Participants collaborate with researchers and become co-creators of the study. All active contributors will be included as co-authors on a scientific publication. This session explores why people believe in pseudoscience and how to distinguish scientific from non-scientific claims. Participants analyze real-life examples from media and social networks and contribute to discussions about science and misinformation.
