The rocky intertidal areas of Los Angeles are great places to find all sorts of wildlife. Join the researchers from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium to explore coastal marine life at Point Fermin, San Pedro. We will meet at the front steps of the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, then walk out to the tide pools. We encourage everyone to use iNaturalist to document the marine life they see during this bioblitz event. The data we collect will be compiled into the City Nature Challenge, and will be available to scientists so they may continue their understanding of the organisms that live in this section of the California coast. Event is free, but RSVP so we know you are coming.
