Eterna invites contributors to become RNA scientists. Contributors solve puzzles to design specialized RNA-based medicines and sensors, receive feedback after their designs are built and tested in a lab at Stanford, and work together to build knowledge about how RNA works. Join us online for an introduction to citizen science, to learn more about summer reading, and to learn how to participate in the Eterna project through a presentation and online Q&A. Meet Do Soon Kim of the Eterna project. He'll be in conversation with Samuel Jack, the Public Relations & Special Services Supervisor of Newton Public Library. Join us on Zoom and submit your own questions on the Q&A/Chat features during the event. This event is supported by Newton Public Library, the Network of the National of Libraries of Medicine, All of Us, and SciStarter.
