A national project enabling any group - researcher, council, landcare, school, individual - to log data related to introduced arboreal habitat: nest boxes and introduced cavities.
The ProofSafe mobile app enables participants to collect habitat and tree data, pin the location, take photographs and then find it again down the track. Back in the office project managers can view and update their project data - this data belongs to the group that collects it but is in a uniform format allowing analysis in the future across a much larger national data set.
Over time the project will provide insights into methodologies, materials, the fauna that use the habitat and the trees that host them.
