Participate in the North American Butterfly Count at the Golden Preserve! The Golden Preserve is a hidden gem near Davisburg. It is at the NE intersection of Clark Road and the N-S RR crossing midway between Big Lake & Andersonville Roads. Nets and water are provided. Insect repellant, long pants and sunscreen are encouraged. It's a fun event and kids are welcome! We may move to Independence Oaks after that to continue counting, depending on weather. Rain date: Sunday, July 13th.
