Welcome to the 2026 edition of A Helping Hand to Ånderdalen National Park!
For one week, take part in hands-on nature conservation activities and biodiversity mapping in Ånderdalen National Park (Senja island, Northern Norway).
This initiative is rooted in the Norwegian concept of dugnad, a tradition of voluntary community work where people come together to contribute time and effort for the common good. In this spirit, both locals and visitors will join forces to make a meaningful difference for nature in one of Europe’s last remaining wilderness areas, 300 km north of the Arctic Circle.
Food, accomodation and transport from/to Finnsnes will be provided for free to the participants.
