SC Bat Watch is a citizen science project in South Carolina that monitors summer bat roost sites such as bat boxes. Bat Watch involves counting bats emerging from maternity roosts at sunset, twice during summer.
The Bat Watch project offers 2 levels of involvement: either 2 or 4 counts, half between May 15-June 15 (before pups can fly), and half between July 1-31 (after pups can fly).
