The Great Backyard Bird Count is upon us, and it is time to celebrate the birds! Come out to the park from Friday, February 17th through Monday, February 20th for a backyard bird scavenger hunt and learn about the birds you might see in your own neighborhood. We have hidden 20 birds in their natural habitats along our Shoreline Trail that are waiting for you to find them. Stop by the park headquarters building to pick up your clue sheet and get out to search for the birds that call North Texas their home! When: Friday, February 17th - Monday, February 20th, 2023 Where: Shoreline Trail Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather! Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
