Help the U.S. Geological Survey keep the national map accurate! The National Map Corps (TNMCorps) is an online crowdsourcing project where volunteers add, edit, and verify structures data across all 50 states, U.S. territories, and D.C. You’ll focus on updating three new recreation structure types: campgrounds, trailheads, and visitor/information centers. Using built-in “mapping challenges,” you’ll fix specific errors, review existing points, or verify data in a targeted geographic area. No prior mapping experience is needed — just a computer, internet access, and attention to detail. Your contributions directly improve USGS National Structures Database, The National Map, and U.S. Topo Maps.
