The VocalCord project explores the frontiers of orbital telemedicine and remote physiological monitoring. We utilize purely mathematical acoustic analysis to extract critical biomarkers, such as F0, Jitter, Shimmer, HNR, and CPPS, from a 3-stage non-invasive vocalization protocol. This methodology evaluates hydration and systemic shifts in microgravity environments.
Our current research involves a specific cohort of 30,000 individuals, generating a highly complex dataset of over 1.5 million distinct voice data points. To refine our Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms, we need volunteer citizen scientists to help quality-control the extractions.
By participating, you will review short acoustic data outputs and identify background noise, microphone distortions, or irregular signal processing parameters. Your contributions directly support the advancement of deep-tech space medicine and non-invasive diagnostic triage systems.
